Getting the best out of your Reed Diffuser..
Reed diffusers are an ideal way to fill your home with fragrance. We recommend the following tips to get the very best out of yours..
Flip your reeds over every few days or once a week for a fresh burst of fragrance.
Give the bottle a gentle swirl every now and then, this also helps release fragrance.
The temperature of your room can impact the fragrance ‘throw’. Warmer rooms help disperse the fragrance better.
Air circulation plays a big part in how scent moves around a space. Try moving your diffuser to different areas of a room to see (or smell!) which place works best.
Room size also plays a part in the strength of a fragrance. Smaller rooms (bathrooms, office spaces) may require just 5-6 reeds for the fragrance to make an impact. We recommend using 8-10 reeds for larger rooms (living room, or a bedroom). Bear in mind that fragrance can get overwhelmed in a large open plan space.
Our Reed Diffusers last upto 12 weeks (this varies depending on amount of reeds used/frequency of reed turning etc). Keep hold of your SP bottles, and simply order a refill when you’re ready. You’ll get a fresh 200ml bottle of oil and 20 reeds, which should last you for 6-12 months!
