This website is operated by Sensory Philosophy Ltd (“We”, “Us”, “Our”). Access and use by you of this website, or placing an order, constitutes acceptance by you of the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not wish to accept these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this website or place any orders.
Terms and conditions of sale
Placing an order. You place an order with us upon completing the checkout of our website and making full payment. At this point in time, we may accept or refuse your order.
Your Right to Cancel. You have the right to cancel your order before it has been shipped, for any reason and with no requirement to disclose reason. If you want to cancel, please contact us via email at [email protected] with your order details and your order will be cancelled with a full refund. Once orders have been shipped you cannot cancel your order, but you may request a full refund in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our Right To Cancel. Likewise, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse to accept your order. In the event that we do this, we are under no obligation to provide a reason for our refusal. Additionally, acceptance of an order does not guarantee acceptance of any further orders in the future. In the event that we refuse to accept your order you will be issued with a full refund.
Time Taken To Fulfil Your Order. We aim to have your order delivered to you within 5 working days, but we are unable to guarantee this and accept no liability for delayed fulfilment of your order.
Delivery. To deliver your candle we may rely on third party couriers. We charge a fee for delivery on our website. This delivery fee may be more or less than the fee than the fee that Sensory Philosophy Ltd pay the third party courier. If you do not pay this fee and require delivery, we will cancel your order and issue you with a refund.
Collection. We offer the ability for customers to collect candles from St Neots. This service is offered at our full discretion and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. In the event that you want to collect a candle, please select this option at checkout and contact us via email with your order details after payment when we will make the arrangements.
Your Right to Refund. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our product, please send an email to [email protected] with your order details and reason for dissatisfaction and we will process a refund. Please note that your delivery costs will not be refunded.
No Liability. You need to be aware that candles are potentially dangerous products which can cause house fires, with non-negligible risk of destruction of property, injury or death to yourself or others. You are solely responsible for safely using your candle and Sensory Philosophy Ltd takes absolutely no responsibility for how you use our products.
Safety and Allergies.Never burn our products unattended and follow all relevant safety advice, some of which can be found here on the gov.uk website, where you will see their estimate that two house fires are started each day by candles. Please keep our products away from children and animals and treat candles with respect. Please be aware that you may be allergic to some or all of our products. We supply safety information sheets with all of our products and we cannot be held responsible if you have an allergic reaction to any of our products.
Children. Candles can be dangerous products. As such we will not sell any of our products to persons under the age of 18.
Pricing Or Website Errors. In the event that we make a mistake on our website, we may exercise our right to cancel.
Governing Law. Our agreement will be governed by the Laws and Courts of England and Wales.
