Endings and Beginnings

As the major players amongst the planets move gracefully into the Age of Aquarius this February there is more than a sense that change is in the air, not only globally but also personally.

Change is a word that so often elicits an emotional reaction, often of equal and opposite measure, as we have certainly witnessed across the world in the past few years. The turbulence of recent times begins to draw to a close although it will not be an overnight event. We have to learn to be patient and wait for the new beginnings that will arise from the endings that are currently taking place.

Whilst globally we may be unable to exercise much influence on events that unfold, we can choose how we navigate the changes that may be unfolding in our personal lives. Taking time out to be kind to ourselves, to pause and to appreciate the little things are never more important than now.

One big change that is happening here at Sensory Philosophy is that our days and our adventures here in France are drawing to a close.

We are navigating our own endings and beginnings, saying our farewells and eagerly anticipating our hellos once we return to the UK. It’s not been an easy decision on so many levels.

So why are we doing it?

You may well ask...

To be closer to those we love.

To navigate the changing times together.

To share laughter and experiences more readily than via a flaky internet connection.

To be on immediate standby for when we can hug again.

As French doors sadly close we are not losing our links with the very special people whom have become close friends and the spectacular places that will forever be vivid in our memory. We are taking both with us through the door that is now opening onto a new chapter of our life and new adventures once back in the U.K.

Fragrance will remain as important an anchor point as ever whilst we navigate the move.

The smell of lavender, olive, thyme, garrigue, mimosa, frangipani, patchouli and jasmine will continue to play a central part and reassuring anchor in how we continue to develop new chapters in the Sensory Philosophy story.
